Frequently asked questions & answers

This document is for law enforcement personnel participating in the Cyber Safety Asia (CSA) Program - Tier 1 training.

How do I access the CSA Program?

  • The CSA Team would have registered your details into the program from information received from your agency.

  • Once registered, you will receive two separate emails. The first emails should be a Welcome message from the CSA Program team. This email explains how to access the training program and timeframes. The second email will be from the AFP College Online. This email provides you with your training login credentials.

  • If you have not received the email with your login credentials, please check your Junk or Spam folders before contacting the CSA Program team. Otherwise, you can access the site using the link from the Welcome email. You can use your email address and click on the ‘forgot password’ option.

  • If you have not received any of these emails and you believe your details have been provided, please send an email to admin@csaprogram.org. Please include your name, email address and the agency you are from so we can follow up for you.

I’m logged into the training but I can’t seem to access the CSA Program course.

  • We suggest you log out and then log back in. If that doesn’t work, please contact the CSA Program team at admin@csaprogram.org and we will look into it for you. We aim to attend to your enquiry within 48 hours, or as soon as possible.

Do I have to log on to the online training at any certain times?

  • You can log in at any time and day that suits you.

  • You will have 30 days to complete the program.

Can I complete the program at my own pace?

  • Yes you can work at your own place, but remember, you have 30 days to complete the entire program.

How much time should I be spending on each module?

  • As a guide, it is estimated that each module could take you up to 30 minutes to read and up to 30 minutes to complete each exam.

  • We suggest you take as much time as you need to read and comprehend each module. There is no set time frame with reading each module.

  • Please note, there is a set time frame of 30 minutes to complete each exam for each module.

  • There are 10 exam questions for each module. You will need to be correct on at least 7 questions to pass the exam.  These are open book exams so feel free to refer to the Training Manual when answering the questions.

  • You will have 3 attempts for each exam.

Help, I have attempted a module exam 3 times and failed and I can’t progress to the next module exam, what can I do?

  • Our team is available to assist you with getting through this program.

  • If this happens to you and you would like to continue and attempt to get through this program, please send us an email to admin@csaprogram.org.  We will assess your situation and look at resetting your access.

  • Remember, each module is an open book style exam. With careful reading of each module, you should be able to find all the answers. Good luck and don’t give up.

Can I attempt an Exam Module more than once?

  • If you have attempted an exam and passed, it is important that you DO NOT re-do the exam. Please continue on to the next Module.

  • If you have attempted an exam and NOT PASSED, please re-do the exam. You have up to 3 attempts on each Module.

What happens if I don’t finish the program?

  • If you don’t complete the program within your 30 day allocation, you will not receive a Certificate.

  • We understand that for many reasons there could be times when you may not be able to complete the program within 30 days. Please email admin@csaprogram.org if this applies to you. We will review your situation and do our best to grant you extra time to complete the training.

  • You will not be eligible to proceed to further advanced CSA Programs, when they are available.

What happens when I complete all 9 Modules and assessments of the program?

  • A Certificate will be issued in your name and emailed to the email address listed in your training profile.

  • You may be eligible to proceed to further advanced CSA Programs, when they are available.

The name printed on my Certificate needs to be changed.

  • The name that has been used to register you into the program is how your name will display on your certificate. If this is incorrect, and needs to be changed, please contact the CSA Program team at admin@csaprogram.org.  You will need to provide the exact update and changes required, including rank, first name and last name. We will then re-issue and email your updated certificate to you.

If I do the course in more than one language, will I get more than one Certificate?

  • No. The certificates are issued with a unique verification code and you will only receive one valid certificate per participant for the Tier 1 training, irrespective of how many times, or how many languages, you do the course.

If you need to contact the CSA Program Team.
